Our Heritage

A small farm outside of Platte Center, Nebraska three boys learned from Dale and Dorothy Pillen what mattered most – the virtues of honesty, the value of hard work and the importance of caring for others as you would yourself.

From that small farm, with dirt lots to raise their pigs, today Pillen Family Farms has grown into a flourishing family farm specializing in raising quality pork to feed the world. While many things have changed throughout the years, what has not are the lessons Dale and Dorothy instilled and the commitment to responsible family farming.
